For me food is largely functional. Anyone who knows me
knows that I'm not really a "foodie". That's
not to say I don't like eating nice food but I'm not one
of those people who gets all excited by the mere mention
of food. In fact mostly when people talk about food in
that passionate sort of way my eyes kind of glaze over... You can probably guess from this that I'm not much of a cook. Actually I'm an OK cook - I just don't like doing it very much. A peek into the contents of my freezer will reveal a stack of frozen ready meals etc. and my fridge usually only contains the odd vegetable that's seen better days (unless of course I've just been to the supermarket which I try to avoid doing too often).

All that said however there is one meal I do enjoy cooking and that's breakfast. See my gut buster breakfast. It's not exactly light on the washing up but I think you'll find it's worth it! Occasionally I'll really push the boat out and cook a mega-meal. I don't cook palm nut soup (a traditional Ghanaian dish) very often, but whenever I do I wonder why I don't do it more often (and so do my friends).
