Death of England – Delroy

With all the restrictions around Covid 19 I’ve missed going to the theatre. Thankfully theatre’s have stepped up and streamed some great stuff during the lockdown. The National Theatre has been a treasure.

The latest offering Death of England:Delroy was fantastic. The writing and acting were absolutely brilliant, as was the Q&A afterwards. Amazing to realise the understudy Michael Balogun was able to put together such a great performance in only 2 weeks.

A group of culture vultures including me good self had a great time recreating the theatre experience virtually,  watching together in our respective homes… great pre and post performance bantz and lovely to share the experience together.

Definitely recommend catching this play when it returns to the National next spring.
