I was in the area so thought I’d take a quick gander at the ceramic poppies in the moat at the Tower of London. I didn’t actually go to the exhibition on this occasion as there’s a great view from the bridge approach and surrounds.
I’m not sure if Joe Public can actually walk amongst the poppies, but imagine it would be a really cool thing to do.
Whilst I was looking at it from an artistic / aesthetic perspective, the installation is also about commemoration…
Get there sharpish if you can it’s only on til November 11th 2014…
