I’ve long admired and followed the fantastic bunch of women that are the driving force behind Blow the Fuse Jazz. Ever since I was more of a nipper than I am now. So there was no way I was going to miss their 25th Anniversary gig. What a great night. These talented women never disappoint and it’s a pleasure to watch them play together in their various formations and with other musicians.
To think that a certain friend (who shall remain nameless but she knows who she is) passed up the offer to meet a work deadline. Pah! Work shmerk I say… Anyway, because I’m the forgiving sort, here’s a wee flavour of what you missed on the night.
