Well day 2 of messing around with this wonderful wordpress thing and starting to get my head around the basics. Lesson no. 1, always double check you have a copy of the original and a back up of any of your edits before messing with template files. I thought I had, and learned the hard way that I didn’t but … all was not lost as doing it all again has helped me understand where and what to fiddle with to get a few simple customisations going on.
