Hot off the press

For up to the minute news check out my blog.

Other recent additions:

Just back from another great walking holiday in Aracena, Spain courtesy of Lottsa Women Walking. If you're a woman and you haven't been on one of their hols yet, you really should check them out.

I've done a fair bit of gadding about during 2007/08 including:

  • a fabulous 2 months in New Zealand via Tokyo and Hong Kong
  • more walking in Spain, this time in the Alpujarras mountains
  • a short trip to New Orleans

Just spent another wonderful week walking in Spain spring 2007. More pics in my blog photography galleries.

Catch up with what I've been reading lately and check out my blog for news of my recent trip to Washington DC.

Read what I got up to on a flying visit to Peru and Bolivia. More pictures in the travel section of my blog photo gallery.

A return visit to Spain this autumn was in order. Fabulous walks and stunning scenery not to be missed. Check out my blog's photography galleries for more pictures.

I've been busy setting up my blog which will hopefully make it much easier for me to keep my diary up to the minute and the site a lot more interactive. So feel free to post your comments.

In between the busyness, managed to get out of London and enjoy a bit of walking on Exmoor.

Things have been a bit quiet ... but I've read some great books lately.

Following hot on the heels of Spain, a hedonistic weekend in Amsterdam (should have done them the other way round really ...)

Finally some non work related travel -- a very nice week of walking and chilling in Spain.

Was lucky enough to get in another visit across the pond - the second time in 6 months, this time to Seattle ...

Well I've been getting into a bit more reading lately, and discovering the joys of Greenwich and surrounds.

See what I got up to on a recent trip to San Francisco.

Ok so yet again have not been as on the ball as I could be with site updates, but hey I've been kinda busy with life. However have now got round to posting some pics of the nice time I had walking around Shoreham recently.

I admit it, I have been a bit sluggish about doing updates recently but that's because I've been out and about in the fresh air enjoying the pleasant countryside around Stanmer Park in East Sussex and Hebden Bridge in Yorkshire.

Older Stuff

See if it was worth the wait to find out what I got up to whilst in Australia.

Check out what I got up to on my Singapore stopover.

Have finally got round to adding a few pics of my stopover in Hong Kong en route to New Zealand.

Recently returned from an absolutely fabulous trip so here's your chance to share my New Zealand experience with me. Enjoy ... I know I did.

In case you ain't noticed, site now has a search facility (scroll down to bottom of page). I've had a whole heap of musical treats recently culminating in seeing Manu Dibango and guests -- a great gig.

The lovely summer sunshine we've been having recently has provided the perfect excuse to get out and about. A day out in Virginia Water was just the ticket.

A great time was had by all at the Coin Street Festival which kicked of Refugee Week in the UK.

Back in Old Blighty what better way to aclimatise than a lovely walk in Merworth and West Peckham in England's garden, Kent.

Just time to squeeze in a short visit to Ghana between public holidays with plenty of opportunities to soak up the rays.

Recently had a fab time in New York City -- managed to fit in a bit of culture as well as the obligatory shopping. Also managed a fantastic walk in Wye, Kent.

Catch up on what I've been reading over the Christmas break.

Following on from a fab time in Scotland, had a very different but equally relaxing time in Valencia -- what a great place!.

The fine summer weather held out for a wonderful week walking in Scotland. Most relaxing.

Head for the coast ... It's the only way to escape the heat they said. So we took ourselves off to Whitstable in Kent for a nice day out with some mates.

First bit of live music this summer -- well worth the wait, Hugh Masekela was absolutely fantastic.

Kent seems to have a lot of water. I spent a nice day out with some mates walking beside some of it. The Great Stour river is long, winding and very pretty. On this occasion we picked it up near Grove Ferry - a charming spot.

Bank Holiday weekends make a trip out of London a must whenever possible. South East coast is a firm favourite with me (due to proximity to London amongst other things). Enjoyed a fabulous walk along the Seven Sisters - stunning chalk cliffs on the South Downs way.

The year just gets better 'n' better. Had a fabulous trip to San Francisco - read all about it. Spring has arrived at last though it's still a little cold - nevertheless a trip to Kew Gardens works wonders for the soul and I don't mind the cold too much as long as it's sunny.

Just returned from a great escape from winter cold to tropical heat after another trip to Ghana - catch up with what I got up to.

Not so new any more (but still worth a look):

Been out and about enjoying the Kent countryside recently in fine weather with scenery to match.

What could be better than Paris in springtime? Find out what I got up to in Europe's most romantic city (apparently). I've been discovering the delights of the area round London's Tower Bridge and the north bank of the River Thames.

Out and about in Sissinghurst and having a go on the London Eye on the South Bank of the River Thames

See the sights and read what I got up to on my city break to Rome.

It seems like a while since I last did a site update but never mind that - it's here now and that's the main thing. Check out what I got up to on my recent holiday in Spain. Enjoy your trip ...

I've been out catching some great music at a couple of festivals. To soak up the atmosphere and see pics of Courtney Pine, Run DMC and others head straight for gigs in the music area of the site. Also managed to squeeze in a bit more reading. Enjoy ... I know I did.

Forthcoming Attractions

  • More walks
  • More holidays
  • Whatever else I can dream up (any suggestions?)
