Click on the pic to return to Spain Autumn 2006 story After two days of pouring rain it was nice to wake up to a beautiful dawn, some blue sky and sunshine. We set off for our walk from the tiny hamlet of Mazmullar to Comares. Comares is another typical, pretty, whitewashed spanish village. Perched high atop a rocky hill, it's again well placed for stunning views and can be seen from just about everywhere in the area. There's a beautiful town square and cemetery. The square has a wonderful ceramic tile mural depicting the town's history. This was yet another beautiful walk through olive groves. The walk back to Mazmullar via the old road out of Comares was again stunning. |
