Seville is a wonderful vibrant city. It's hot in more ways than one the day we visited the temperature got up to 31° c - I for one was wilting. Lots of tourist attractions including beautiful imposing buildings and examples of Moorish architecture. We spent most of the day wandering around the area near the cathedral and narrow alleyways of Barrio Santa Cruz which was my favourite bit. We also ate a great meal of pescos varidados (mixed fish), spent some time by the river (Rio Guadalquivir), and wandered off the beaten track a bit to try and find a particular bar and spent a bit of time in the park. Could have done with spending a bit more time in Seville so will bookmark it for a visit some other time. |
