Click on the pic to return to Seattle story Still in Discovery Park, a visit to the beach at West Point is definitely worth the slight detour, descending down from the cliff top through beautiful woodland. On the way down spotted a huge Bald Headed Eagle perching all majestic like in a tree. On the beach itself I was treated to more wildlife up close in the form of various wading birds. After wandering park trails, a sunset sitting here, taking the weight of your feet, checking out the panoramic mountain views across the water, and listening to the waves is highly recommended!. |
