Click on the pic to return to Seattle story The area around Seattle's waterfront is a great place to have wander. I really enjoyed just strolling along, or sitting and watching the world go by. Ferries coming in and out of the harbour taking people off to the various islands scattered around Puget Sound, or on boat trips promising "guaranteed" whale sightings. I got a fabulous view of the harbour from the 38th floor of the Westin Hotel (the round building in the centre of the above shot) but it was also great looking back up towards the city from the waterfront too. |
