Click on the pic to return to Seattle story The public market at Pike Place is not to be missed really. Colourful and bright with stalls and below ground stores selling anything from flowers to fish, and a load more besides, it's easy for a couple of hours to just "disappear" without you even realising it. Plenty to see and lots of good places to eat either in the market itself or in the surrounding streets. My favourites were the Pan African Market on 1st Avenue, Copacabana Columbian on Post Alley between Pine and Pike St -- both great for lunch or dinner. And for brekkie the bagels and coffee at Pike place bagel bakery on the corner of 1st Avenue and Pike St were simply the best. |
