Click on the pic to return to Scotland story This was yet another fantastic day. After a couple of days of doing shortish walks we decided we were up for a bit more of a challenge. After ruling out walking up the 2750 ft Ben Vrackie for being rather too much of a challenge on our last day, we opted for Glen Tilt near Blair Atholl. The ten mile circular walk was worth every step despite being completely knackered by the end of it. Again the scenery was varied and very dramatic. We stopped for another picnic lunch by yet another beautiful river - the River Tilt. In five hours of walking we passed only about four other people -- blissfully peaceful. I was not looking forward to returning to the noise and chaos of London the next day ... |
