Click on the pic to return to Peru story Cusco is a great city and I really enjoyed the few days we spent there. Our hotel, Hostal Corihuasi was comfortable, had nice views of the city and the staff were pretty helpful and friendly. Lots of places and things to shop for, fantastic Cathedral (well it looked pretty grand from the outside). Full of hustle and bustle there's a constant stream of people from small children to old men and women wanting to tout their restaurant, tours, artwork, finger puppets, get you to pay to photograph then with the llama, alpaca they had in tow … etc. but I guess folk have to make a living somehow. There’s also several museums and various Inca ruins within easy striking distance. |
