Click on the pic to return to New York story New York's most famous building is visible from almost everywhere in New York City. The observatory at the top provides magnificent views of the city (it's definitely worth a visit at sunset / early evening on a clear night). With 102 floors, this building is seriously tall. The top of the building seems to be lit up in different colours almost every night. In fact while we were visiting, the Scots Parade took place, and the Empire State Building was due to be lit up in Scottish colours (although we didn't actually notice this from Brooklyn where we spent most of the evening). |
