Click on the pic to return to Ghana 2004 story I arrived at the beach just before sunset. The fish had been landed a short while before. Once these women saw me taking photos of the children playing on the beach, they also wanted in on the act. We had a good laugh as they jostled for position and posed with their fish for the camera. Everyone gets involved in the fishing industry from kids to grandmothers, and everyone works really hard. One of my favourite childhood memories of Saltpond is "helping" the fishermen bring in their catch, and it's still a favourite for me today (though I didn't do much helping this time).
