There's just something about Nimbin Rocks. Formed over 20 million years ago, apart from looking really dramatic there is something else about them that drew me to look at them constantly whenever we passed. Perhaps because they are an important sacred site for the Bundjalung people, the indigenous folk of the area and custodians of the land, there's a definite mystical vibe going on. In the mornings, shrouded in mist the rocks look even more spectacular and it was easy to spend ages just sitting and gazing at them. |
